Resources for the Holidays

The holidays can be stressful for everyone, but especially those caring for elderly loved ones (not to mention, with a global pandemic on top of it). So that’s why we wanted to put together resources for caregivers during this hectic season.

Stress-Reducing Tips for Caregivers

Check out our blog post with 10 tips to reduce caregiver stress as you navigate December! Caring for an older parent or loved one is a demanding job; it’s essential to recognize your hard work and allow yourself time for self-care.

Things to Look for When Visiting Elderly Parents

Many of us haven’t been able to visit our parents this year due to COVID-19 and varying restrictions on gatherings. However, if you’re going home for the holidays to see your older parents, it’s the perfect time to assess their health and wellness. There are often certain small details you may overlook on a phone call. Especially for older individuals who live alone, it’s important to check up on them and ensure they’re still able to keep up with their health, daily maintenance and responsibilities.

Refer to our infographic below that highlights seven things to look out for when visiting your elderly parents or loved ones. These items can be red flags that show your parents might be facing a health issue or need additional support.

Property Development of Vineyard Johns Creek

We have walls! For years this parcel of land at the corner of Parsons and Medlock Bridge roads was just an empty area, but now people know what’s coming . . . us!

Now that the foundation has been poured, we’re seeing real progress! Each day, our Tribe makes significant steps forward to bring our community to life.

Happy Holidays!

We hope you have a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year! We can’t wait to continue to serve the families of Johns Creek and make strides in opening our brand new senior community. 💚
